Privacy policy
Last updated October 14, 2026
This policy explains what personal information B2 Intros collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. B2 Intros is based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, and is responsible for the information described here.
What we collect
What you send us. The contact form asks for your first and last name, company, email address and a message. If we correspond or work together, we keep that correspondence and the business details you give us.
Business contact information. Our work is finding companies with a specific need and the companies that can meet it. To do that we note business contact details, such as a person’s name, role, company and work email or phone number, from public records, company websites and business contact directories.
Billing details. When we invoice a client we keep the billing name, address and email on the invoice, and a record of the payment. Card numbers go to the payment processor and never to us.
This website. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The company that hosts it keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses.
How we use it
We use this information to reply to you, to judge whether an introduction would be a fit, to contact companies about an introduction that looks relevant to them, to make introductions, and to invoice and keep the records the law requires.
We do not sell contact lists or data, and we do not use personal information for advertising.
Who we share it with, and how
The other party to an introduction, and only after you have agreed to be introduced. We share it by email, in the introduction itself: your name, role, company and work email, and what we have confirmed about your need or your capability.
Service providers that run parts of the business for us, each receiving only what its service needs:
- FormSubmit receives what you type into the contact form and delivers it to our inbox by email.
- Vercel hosts this website and keeps its server logs.
- Google Workspace provides our email, so it holds the messages we exchange.
- Stripe receives the billing name and email when we issue an invoice, and collects card payments directly.
They handle the information only to provide that service. Some of them store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to the laws of that country.
Where the law requires it, such as a court order, we disclose only what is required.
We do not share personal information with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, and invoices for as long as tax and business-record laws require. When it is no longer needed, we delete it.
How we protect it
- This website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), so what you send through the contact form is encrypted on its way to us.
- Card details are entered on Stripe’s payment pages. They never pass through this website, and we do not see or store them.
- Business records are kept in password-protected accounts that only we can access. Our email and payment accounts also require two-step verification to sign in.
- We keep only the information we need.
- If a breach of personal information we hold creates a real risk of significant harm, we will tell the people affected and report it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as Canadian privacy law requires.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us through the contact page and we will respond within 30 days.
If we contacted you first and you would rather not hear from us again, say so and we will stop.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a new date.
